How do I transfer my Arizona license to Venture REI?

After you sign the Independent Contractor Agreement:

After signing your ICA and paying the joining fee, it’s time to transfer your license to Venture REI! You can update your employing broker through the Online License Renewal System in one of two ways:

  1. If you’re renewing your license online, select the ‘Change Employer’ option when prompted to choose whether to (1) continue with the same employer, (2) change employer, or (3) sever from this employer.
  2. If you’re not renewing your license online, click on ‘Change Your Employer’ from the menu options. This will bring up the current employment information page, showing your existing employing broker.

To complete the transfer, enter Venture REI’s license number (LC641154000) in the ‘Change Employer To’ section at the bottom of the screen. Please note, you only need to enter Venture REI’s license number: LC641154000.

If you are newly licensed:

If you are a newly licensed agent, you must either join a team or enroll in our Brokerage Mentorship Program. Starting your career is an exciting time, and we want to ensure you receive the proper coaching and support.

Ready to Apply as a Newly Licensed Agent?

  1. Visit the AZDRE Online License Renewal System.
  2. Locate the First-Time Login Section: Just above the login area, find the section for agents logging in for the first time.
  3. Create Your Account: Click to create your account and follow the on-screen instructions.

After completing the above steps:

Your Designated Broker, Frank Vazquez, along with the Onboarding Coordinator, will confirm your license transfer with the Arizona Department of Real Estate.

New to Venture REI? Once your license transfer is complete, keep an eye out for your welcome email. It will include your Post-Onboarding Instructions, details about our Onboarding class, a link to our Marketing Center, and more!

Already a Venture REI Agent? Please email [email protected], and our support team will add your license to your existing agent portal account.

How to transfer your active listings:

If you have an active listing, please follow these steps:

  1. Obtain Approval: Reach out to your previous brokerage for approval to transfer your listing. Be sure to inquire about any associated fees. (You must get approval from your previous brokerage)
  2. Complete the Listing Transfer Form: Once your previous brokerage approves, contact your Board to obtain the Listing Transfer Form, as each Board has its own unique form.
  3. Signatures Required: Ensure the Listing Transfer Form is signed by all parties, including your previous brokerage.
  4. Submit to Venture REI’s Broker: After everyone has signed, send the form to [email protected] for Venture REI’s Broker to sign. We only accept electronic signatures, so please use your preferred signature platform.
  5. Broker Signature: The Arizona Broker will sign the form.
  6. Submit to Your Association: Once the form is signed by Venture REI’s Broker, submit it to your association. They will then transfer the listing on the MLS.
  7. Submit through our portal: Enter the listing in Venture REI agent portal and upload the Listing Transfer Documentation to your Listing Checklist.
  8. Active Escrow Transfer (if applicable): If the listing is already under contract, you’ll also need to complete an Active Escrow Transfer form, provided by your previous broker. After obtaining their signature, send it to [email protected] for Venture REI’s Broker to sign.
  9. Electronic Signatures Only: As with the Listing Transfer Form, we only accept electronic signatures for the Active Escrow Transfer form. Use your preferred signature platform to send it to the Arizona Broker.

How to Transfer Your Current Active Escrow:

If you are representing the seller, please follow the steps outlined above in “How to Transfer Your Active Listings.”

If you are representing the buyer:

  1. Obtain Approval: Contact your previous brokerage for approval to transfer the escrow and discuss any associated fees.
  2. Complete the Active Escrow Transfer Form: Once your previous brokerage agrees, fill out the Active Escrow Transfer form provided by them.
  3. Signatures Required: Ensure your previous brokerage signs the form. Then, send it to [email protected] for Venture REI’s Broker to sign.
  4. Electronic Signatures Only: We only accept electronic signatures, so please use your preferred signature platform to send the form to the Arizona Broker.

How to Notify & Transfer Company with your Local Association:

Most associations in Arizona provide the option to submit your transfer or application form online, along with the required payment. Below are links to the three most common associations that Venture REI agents are affiliated with.
