Mathew Avrhami is an active commercial real estate entrepreneur with a passion for promoting community and economic growth. Mr. Avrhami has experience across
the capital stack and major asset types, specializing in creating value though entitlements, development, re-development, leasing, operational efficiencies, and
market opportunities. Actively involved in the community, Mathew Avrhami is an adjunct professor of real estate finance at Arizona State University’s WP Carey School of Business. Mr.
Avrhami also volunteers as Chair of the City of Phoenix Paradise Valley Village Planning Committee, sits on the Programs Committee of the Real Estate Advisory
and Investment Council and is Chair of NEXT in the Arizona ULI chapter.
Most recently Mr. Avrhami was VP of Acquisitions at Progress Residential a national single-family REIT with over 30k homes, where he oversaw and managed
development of multiple new acquisition channels including strategic national home builder relationships, new construction, Build to Rent and single family rental
portfolios. Previously, Mr. Avrhami was at Rialto Capital where as Vice President of the Phoenix office responsibilities included managing day-to-day operations, recruitment,
acquisitions, asset management and dispositions of direct and JV real estate investments throughout the western mountain states.
Mathew holds a Bachelor’s in Economics and a Master’s of Real Estate Development from Arizona State University.
